Steinberg Cubase Pro 12 is a full version of DAW for professional producers, composers and sound engineers. Designed with a simple interface and an extensive hotkey system. The sound engine with 64-bit processing and a sampling rate of up to 192 kHz provides professional sound.
Dolby Atmos tools are present, which allow you to create projects for surround sound systems. Cubase Pro 12 has an unlimited number of audio channels and MIDI / instrument tracks, 256 group channels, 8 send channels and 64 return channels. Up to 256 physical inputs and outputs are supported, up to 16 insert effects per channel, and 64 slots for VST instruments.
Cubase comes with a variety of professional tools. The MIDI Remote integration feature allows you to instantly link MIDI controllers to Cubase and create your own templates with assignments. For vocal correction, there is a VariAudio tool and a Scale Assistant utility with ready-made scales. You can recognize the harmony of a track and convert it to notes using Audio to MIDI chords.
Complex textures can be generated using modulations in the FX Modulator tool, and projects can be increased in volume without sacrificing transients or transparency using the new Raiser compressor. The user can align the audio with the project grid and tempo using the AudioWarp function.
